For complex geometries not covered by conventional design rules and for advance loading conditions, ZEL performs Finite Element Analysis (FEA) which are pre-processed to industry guidelines and post processed in conformance with industry codes and standards.
ZEL offers the following services:
- FEA post processed to the guidelines of ASME Section VIII Part 5, section 5.2.2 & 5.2.3 for plastic collapse assessment
- Fatigue screening assessments per Part 5 section 5.5.2, methods A and B
- Fatigue Analysis assessment per Part 5 Section 5.5.3 and ratcheting (low cycle fatigue) assessment per Section 5.5.6.1
- Third party review of FEA conducted to verify conformance to ASME Section VIII Part 5 and other jurisdictional requirements for FEA for design registrations.
